In Memory of Rusty Ray Charles – “VETERANS MWP Sponsorship on Snow”

What can I say, Rusty earned titles in 8 different organizations and or clubs for a total of 33 just weight pull titles, while he competed in close to 300 pulls in his life time. Placing in the top of various standings, winning 60# class for points in NWDA as well as the overall points winner that year too. Placing at various nationals (Irondog and NWDA to name a few). He also medaled on all 3 surfaces over the years in various organizations too. While in his prime, friends referred to him as my “long haired red nose pit bull” as he was often the last non-pit
still pulling with the better pits in his class. I showed him a specialty in Canada, at 11.5 yrs. old and he won the best overall working dog, even beating the young sled dogs. He was very special in so many ways to me.
