In Memory of Thelma

Thelma had a good long pulling career and accomplished what I felt was a lot. I thought she was going to be my up-and-coming rock star until she was injured playing in the yard with her brother and sister. Her brother body slammed her; I did not see it but heard it. She came up lame about a year later and had knee surgery. While off and recouping, she became the resident house dog and super spoiled! She was not only the “queen of the road” but the Queen of the house and yard too. When I was away from home for work, she would get into my cloths and drag the out the doggie door and leave them all over the back yard and the dog sitter would have a scavenger hunt each morning when they got there. When I was sleeping and she wanted attention, she would wake me up by “bopping” me on the head or in the face with her nose. If I did not respond, she would do it again and a bit harder to I was not to ignore her! I so miss those “bops” right now. I lost Thelma March 9 of this year.
