TRIPLE CROWN AWARD RULES:

1) To be eligible for the Triple Crown MWP and MWPP the dog MUST pull on all 3 surfaces. To be eligible to do pull on all 3 you either had to have pulled and qualified on 2 of the 3 surfaces or pulled and qualified on all 3 surfaces.

2) The dog’s final weight pulled successfully will be recorded, as well as the time from THAT ROUND.

3) All final weight pulled will be added up, and the HIGHEST TOTAL WEIGHT PULLED will be awarded the TRIPLE CROWN MWP.

4) To figure the TRIPLE CROWN MWPP, we will take the total weight and divide by dog’s body weight and the HIGHEST TOTAL will be awarded the TRIPLE CROWN MWPP.

5) Any ties will be broken by TIME in that round, with the faster time being awarded the higher placement.

MVD (Most Valuable Dog)

To be eligible for this award, you do NOT have to pull on all 3 surfaces. It is points based and points are earned the same way you earn your “ranking” points. They will be recorded per surface and added up on site and the award will be issued after Sundays pull is over. Points are earned as follows:

1) Class placements: 5 points for 1st in class, 3 points for 2nd, and 1 point for 3rd.

2) Individual Percentage (%) points: Take the (%) from that day, divide by 5 and the whole number is your (%) pts

3) MWP top ten bonus pts, see table on back of recording sheet

4) MWPP top ten bonus pts, see table on back of recording sheet

The total points will be awarded the MVD trophy.
